My Bio
As an artist, Nothing fascinates me more than capturing a moment; to be able to paint a flitting second of time in one’s life, one that cannot be re-created is a fantastic feeling of achievement and satisfaction. To be able to capture expressions and movements which are achieved purely by accident is a subject which will never cease to amaze me. These moments of day to day life are timeless, and what I aim to capture in my paintings.
I am also obsessed with painting landscapes (mainly in oil) and also musical theatre! Les Miserables, Oliver, Wicked, The Lion king, Chicago, Cabaret, Phantom... the list goes on..
So many people inspire me!

As it's becoming quite apparent by my latest deviations, I am a bit of a musical theatre geek.. I've been talking to a few people lately who have all suggested that I actually look at going into musical theatre in the future, because what's the point in dreaming of doing something and then never pursuing it? Obviously the best option would be to train in set/theatre design, but that means most probably moving to London (something which scares me). Also I don't even know if I'm creative enough to do theatre design. I know I want to paint, that's definite, but I also want to include this sort of burning desire I have for doing something with th

Somewhere in my memory

Well it has been a long time since I have done any oil paintings- I have had a lot of college work! But, I have recently completed 'somewhere in my memory', Which was a commission created for my friends Nan. After so many months of not touching oils, it was wonderful to get back into it again. This time, unlike all of my other work, I was asked to come up with a scene from my head, which was a challenge. But I don't mind a challenge :)
Now I have commissions building up and I need to produce some paintings to go in some galleries for the summer. So finally I can start painting again, which means hopefully lots of new stuff will be being show
